Crooked Little Vein by Warren Ellis

This book tells a quite simple story, Michael McGill, shit-magnet is hired to find the Lost Constitution of the United States, to do so he must travel through an underworld of perverts, fanatics and sex.

Well i'm a fan of some of his comic work, but i came to this novel with apprehension, would WE still be himself without the comic book format he's so used to? Well the thing that strikes me the most i guess is how visual this book is, everything is described, and while i already mentally cringed at the idea of Godzilla Bukake... well i wasn't really expecting a full description of what it would actually look like... said description being far more demented than anything i could have imagined for myself...

This book is typical WE, if you shock easily stay away from it, The most scary thing i can say about him is though that as mad as some things may sound most of what you read about in the book is easily found by a simple internet query...

If you're a WE fan, or if you're not afraid of a little kinkiness and lots of dark humor read this book, it's actually very good!
